Why Judge Young?
On November 30, 2023 Governor Tony Evers appointed Toni L. Young to the Racine County Wisconsin Circuit Court Branch 3. Of that appointment, Judge Young said: “To say I am honored does little to describe the gratitude” and that she would work to extend “equal justice” to all in her courtroom.
Judge Young’s gubernatorial appointment lasts through the end of the tenure of Retiring Honorable Judge Maureen Martinez, which ends on July 31, 2024. Judge Young must now contend for her seat on the bench by way of the people she serves – she needs YOUR vote on or before Tuesday, April 2nd to continue the work that she began on the day of her appointment by Governor Evers.
